About this Speaker

Graduate of University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Information Sciences (2007), Amy has been an educator for a million years. In her 15th year as a school librarian in Metro Detroit, Amy is the recipient of MAME’s (Michigan’s state organization for school librarians) 2020 Award for the Promotion of School Library Media Programs and building Teacher of the Year for 2020-2021. A frequent presenter at MAME and MACUL (ISTE affiliate), Amy discovered podcasts could create the same community of collaboration and learning all year long. Amy is a 2022 recipient of Library Journal's Mover and Shaker Award for Community Building.
